Rodeway Inn - Berkeley

The hotel was clean. The room was immaculately clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The location was particularly good. We got a room with bathtubs. Pleasant staff, offered us wake-up service and ironing.

The breakfast had lots of options, including slices of fresh bread, cereals, yogurt and hot waffles. I enjoyed the room, which was fancy and beautiful. The location was GREAT in the great area. North Berkeley subway station can be reached within 5 minutes walk.

The room was newly decorated and reasonably large, it had good wi-fi. The breakfast for its value. The staff were constantly amicable and super friendly...

We could park onsite. There was a good choice of food for breakfast, including coffee and tea. Its location was particularly good and perfect, in a neighborhood and in a nice enough area

The room is impeccably clean and fancy.

We were particularly surprised and delighted with the many bushes, plants and flowers around the courtyard/parking lot. It made a budget hotel in a city location look and feel much more pleasant. Everything about the place was very well kept.

Every time we visit Berkeley, we choose to stay at Rodeway Inn. They offer a nice selection for breakfast with fresh bread, cereals, yogurt, and hot waffles. - the rooms are clean and appealing, and the staff is incredibly friendly. - the location is convenient, close to shopping, restaurants, stores, and public transportation.

Located near restaurants, grocery store, and bart station. It was quiet, clean room, free parking.

There was a slight damp/musty smell in the room. It was a little expensive compared to similar motels in other cities, but reasonably priced for Berkeley.

I love the location for it's ease of public transportation, nearness to restaurants, shopping and local neighborhoods. I also much appreciated the continental breakfast every morning, it was very helpful.

No place to have private conversations except in the parking lot near the fountain, a little too public.

Good place for short stay. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast area is indeed tiny but you can take your food outside (weather permitting) or your room. We only stayed one night and it was a fine place.

I was surprised to be charged more than expected (no taxes were included in the Booked.net price so the bill was a bit higher than expected). Also we asked for a non-smoking room and found cigarette left overs on the floor; for the rest however it was a very clean place.

Recent remodeling, with all new fixtures in the bathroom and sink area. It was very clean. The room was fairly quiet. The price was good for a hotel stay in the area.

The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean, and breakfast included cereals and fruit.

The helpfulness of the staff--they were extraordinary. Your site booked me for a nonsmoking 2-queen room, but it turned out that the motel only smoking rooms left. Nevertheless, they somehow found me a small non-smoking room for the first night, and then I was able to change to a larger non-smoking room the 2nd night for a better (non-Internet) rate. They also located my robe and gown that I had left in the 1st room.

The Internet connection was very weak (2 bars) in both rooms that I stayed in.
